Community Service

Community Service Cycle

Community Service is an alternative sentencing program which the courts may use instead of fines or incarceration. The Court will assign the number of hours and the completion due date.    Failure to complete your hours on time may result in a violation hearing or a warrant for your arrest.

If ordered to perform Community Service as a condition of your probation you will need to contact our office at 503-861-2875 and speak with the Community Service Coordinator. Please make an appointment to set up your service site.

A $50.00 Community Service fee is assessed on all community service cases. You can pay it online. Or if you prefer, you can pay that fee in person by cash, check or credit card at our office. You can mail a check to:  Clatsop County Community Corrections, 1190 SE 19th St., Warrenton OR 97146. Successful completion includes paying the fee.

CAN I USE COMMUNITY SERVICE WORKERS AT MY BUSINESS?
  1. Are you a city, county or state governmental agency?
  2. Are you a non-profit organization?
  3. Are you a Church with non-profit status?

If so, Community Service Workers can be a huge help to you! You will be helping someone complete their Court ordered work by allowing them to perform their service hours at your location. You can request workers to wash cars, wash windows, pick up litter, paint, mow grass, trim bushes, pull weeds, yard work, etc.
