Community Corrections

Community Corrections is a division within the Clatsop County Sheriff's Office. Our Division is comprised of seven Parole and Probation Deputies, two Records Specialists, two Pretrial Specialists, two Sergeants, and the Division-Head Lieutenant.

We supervise Justice-Involved Individuals under the jurisdiction of the Court, the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision, and the Local Supervisory Authority, in addition to individuals from other states.

Community Corrections utilizes specialty programming to meet the needs of those under supervision. These areas include Drug Court, Mental Health Treatment Court, Veterans Court as well as the following dedicated case loads:

• Gender Responsive 
• Sex Crimes
• Domestic Violence

Pretrial Services monitors defendants in the pre-adjudication phase which occurs once a person is charged with a crime, but prior to final resolution by the court.
