Get 6 WEEKS READY Clatsop County

6 Weeks Ready

September 6 - October 19
en español

September is Preparedness Month, a time for every person to think about what actions they can take to get ready for the next emergency or disaster.

The 6 Weeks Ready campaign for Clatsop County residents provides an opportunity over a six week period to increase preparedness efforts regardless of your current level of emergency readiness.

The campaign ends on Thursday, October 19 with the Great Oregon Shakeout earthquake drill.

6 WEEKS READY is for everyone!

  • We're glad you've decided to join our six week journey to becoming prepared.  Each week during the campaign, we'll cover the basics of getting prepared.  Follow along and find yourself part of the preparedness culture at the end of six weeks.
  • If you're already working on getting prepared and could use some direction, use the time to explore the webpage, social media sites, and scheduled presentations to find something new to challenge you and take you to the next level.
  • The campaign challenges those who are more prepared to up their game, increase their resilience, and create a supply cache that will last six weeks.
