Clatsop Economic Development Resources (CEDR)

CEDR, in cooperation with the Clatsop Community College Small Business Development Center, offers counseling in business strategy, marketing, operations and planning, as well as workforce recruiting, training and management assistance. CEDR is also a source for information on resources for new and existing businesses, regulations, taxes and other data.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is funded through Clatsop Community College and through major grants from the State of Oregon and Small Business Administration. The center offers no-cost or inexpensive counseling, seminars, customized training, research materials and a host of other services, including:

  • Small Business Management Program in-depth assistance for existing business;
  • Small Business Development Center (SBDC) business startup and resources for new and existing businesses;
  • Workforce Development employee training and professional development;
  • Capital Resource Center assistance for capital and lending resources.

Additional Resources

The Columbia-Pacific Economic Development District (Col-Pac) is a private non-profit organization established to assist in diversifying and strengthening the economy and livability of Northwest Oregon. The district covers all of Clatsop, Columbia, and Tillamook counties and the western part of Washington County.

The Northwest Oregon Economic Alliance is a partnership between Clatsop, Columbia and Tillamook counties that administers the Regional Investment and Rural Investment lottery funds allotted to the three-county region. Applications for projects creating or retaining jobs in Clatsop, Columbia, or Tillamook counties may be submitted at any time.

Area Chambers of Commerce
