Due to the reduction in transportation services by Sunset Empire Transit District, the Salvation Army Cascade Pacific Council is stepping up to provide gas vouchers to assist community members without bus service.

The vouchers are available at two locations in Seaside:

  • Noon to 5 p.m. on weekdays at the Bob Chisholm Center at 1225 Avenue A
  • 24 hours a day at the City of Seaside Dispatch, located at 1091 S. Holladay

“We know the suspension of bus service is a hardship for many people and we hope this effort will provide some relief,” said Tracy MacDonald, secretary of the Warrenton Kiwanis Club.

Before individuals come to request a voucher, McDonald's encourages them to make sure their vehicle registration is current.

The Warrenton Kiwanis Club coordinates local Salvation Army fundraising efforts.
