Public Works Facility Relocation Project

Public Works Facility Relocation Project
(Formerly known as Public Works Resiliency Project)

Latest Update: July 16, 2021

The consulting firm of Mackenzie has prepared the DRAFT Report on the Public Works Facility Needs Assessment. This report has been finalized and presented at the July 14th work session beginning at 5pm.

Clatsop County selected Mackenzie to develop a new replacement facility for the Public Works Department. The replacement facility has been designed in an effort to better meet the Clatsop County Public Works Department’s needs and goals; provide a facility out of the flood inundation zone and on the south side of the rivers; provide a more efficient operational model and layout; better align with current space demand for the Department; and allow for future staff, facility growth and operational changes.
