Mark Kujala was elected to the Board of Commissioners in 2018 and reelected in 2022 to a four-year term that expires December 2026.
Kujala represents District 1, which covers Warrenton and Hammond and a portion of Astoria.
A lifelong Clatsop County resident, Kujala graduated from Warrenton High School and received a business degree from Oregon State University. He served for 12 years on the Warrenton City Commission, including five years as mayor. The former owner and manager of Skipanon Brand Seafoods, he is currently the director of the Columbia Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Kujala serves on the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Fish Passage Task Force and the Oregon Community Foundation North Coast Leadership Council.
