Campaign Finance

ORS Chapter 260, "Campaign Finance Regulation; Election Offenses." requires disclosure of contributions and expenditures related to any candidate, measure, or political party active in any election. It also requires the electronic filing of campaign finance transactions using ORESTAR (Oregon Elections System for Tracking and Reporting). ORESTAR is used by candidates,  Political Action Committees, and Petition Committees to file campaign finance transactions electronically.

If you have questions about how to file on your campaign finance reporting or establishing a committee (Political Action Committee or Petition Committee), visit the Secretary of State's website at www.oregonvotes.org or contact the Secretary of State's Office Election Division at 503-986-1518.
