Property Line Adjustments, Partitions and Subdivisions

The Land Use Planning office accepts applications for property line adjustments, partitions and subdivisions for land outside of urban growth boundaries and city limits.

A partition application is required for any division of land that creates one or more new parcels of land but no more than three parcels. A subdivision request is required for a division of land that creates three or more new parcels.

Please provide the tax map, address or tax account number for the proposed division of land prior to contacting the Land Use Planning office. You can find this information on your Your Property Tax Statement or by using Web Maps.

In order to process a division of land request, please contact the Land Use Planning office to make sure your request complies with the County’s Zoning ordinance. These documents can assist in the property line adjustment and division of land process.
