Central Services is responsible for the finance, treasurer, payroll, data processing, mail room, telecommunications, and office automation needs of Clatsop County. In addition, Central Services oversees building and grounds maintenance and is responsible for maintaining the county's parks.

Central Services handles the banking and investments of County funds as well as several other taxing districts. It works with the County Administrator in the preparation of the County Budget and with the monitoring of revenues and expenditures of all funds.

This office develops and plans for data processing and communication needs for all the County Departments.
